Sai Shankar Educational ‘Institutions (Residential), Is A Sincere Attempt To Combine Some Of The Best Features Of A Residential School., Following Sri Satiya Sai System Of Education. The Beginning
In May 2000, While Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Was On His Private Visit To Nagarahole, We Were Blessed To Take Up The Task Of Establishing An Educational Institution With All Reverence And Zeal.
The School Was Started In The Year 2000-01, In The Lines Of The Ancient Gurukul System Of Education With Modern Amenities, Under Which We Cater Value Based Education For Kindergarten, Primary School, High School, PUC (Commerce), Degree (B.Com), D.Ed And B.Ed. College.

The Campus “Prashanthi Nitaya” Is Situated In An Ideal Serene, Amidst The Enchanting Beauty Of Nature On The Outskirts Of Ponnampet Town, Away From The Dust And Din Maddening Crowd, 5 Km From Gonikoppai, 50 Km From Madikeri And 95 Km. From Mysore.

The Campus Boasts Of Necessary Infrastructural Facilities Like School Buildings, Separate Hostels, Prayer Hall, Dining Hall, Staff Quarters, Playgrounds And Pond Having Boating Activity. Since It Is Residential Institutions, Separate Independent Hostel Blocks Are Built For Boys And Girls. The Panoramic View Of Nature Around The Hostel Itself Provides The Required Stimulation For The Academic Excellence. Wardens Will Be In Charge Of The Hostels, Who Take Responsibility And Individual Care To Cater To All Necessary Facilities.
Regular Study Hours Are Conducted Both In The Morning As Well As In The Evening With The Guidance Of Teachers. The Hostel Schedule Is So Designed To Aim At Making The Student-Teachers, Virtuous And Service Minded, By Observing Discipline And Righteous Conduct. The Hostel Mess Caters Homely, Delicious, Pure Vegetarian Food In A Hygienic Environment.
The Admissions
The Students Should Attend The Entrance Test, Interview And Will Be Admitted On The Basis Of Their Performance. The Management Reserves The Right Of The Admissions. Those Admitted Shall Pay The Prescribed Fees. Once The Payment Is Made, It Will Not Be Refunded For Any Reason Whatsoever. The Admission Will Be Made For The Current Academic Year Only.

- Students Shalt Wear White Un!Form On Thursdays And Special Occasions. On Other Weekdays They Shall Wear School/College Uniform.
- The Students Are Responsible For The Safe Custody Of Their Own Belongings.
- Attendance Is Compulsory In Class, Bhajans, Debates, Functions Etc.
- Longhairs, Growing -Moustaches And Bears, Wearing Gaudy, Exhibitionist Dresses And Fancy Bangles Are Prohibited.
- No Permission Is Granted To Keep Cask, Mobile Phone, Radio, CD Player, Cameras Etc.
- Students Will Not Indulge In Conducting Any Monetary Transactions Among Themselves. * Any Damage To The Properties Of The Institution Will Be Liable To Fine.
- Students Are Strictly Prohibited From Visiting Others Room And Staff Quarters.
Instructions To Parents
- Students May Register Their Name In The Office And Collect Out Passes Whenever They Are Permitted To Leave The Campus.
- Parents Are Strictly Advised Not To Bring Any Eatables To Their Children.
- A Separate Lounge Is Set Aside For The Purpose Of Meeting Their Wards. Entry Into The Hostels/Classrooms Is Strictly Prohibited.
- Parents Are Requested To Co-Operate With The Institution Authorities In Maintaining Dignity And Decorum Of The Campus.
- Parents Are Advised Not To Give Valuables Of Any Kind Nor Digital Instruments To Their Wards.
