Kopatti Betta & Erulli Bana: Koppay Betta & Erulli Bana is seen on coming out of the forest cover again into the grasslands. A huge rock is seen where you can rest for a while after a 4km trek This place is called “BettaPare” – base of the hill which itself is at an altitude of 4378 feet, while the peak is referred as “BareKunda”. Walking towards the Kopatty peak continue uphill ignoring the misleading a small path on the left.  Here we are at the peak – Kopatty conquered at an altitude of 4504 feet. A clear blue sky and a table top valley far on the right makes for a soul soothing experience. Right below the valley a dense forest is seen known as EruLLi  Bana which is sacred to the Kodava community. Behind EruLLi Bana lies the MandalPatti area.  Kopatty, a simple yet an interesting trek which placed hide and seek all along with once into the forest and then to grasslands and well back again to the forest.
