The Upper Barapole stretches Barapole River is a strong catchment area for the south west monsoons and drains the eastern flanks of Brahmagiri Ghats. Known for some of the most challenging stretches of rapids, Barapole River attracts many adventure enthusiasts every season. The river surges through the dense jungle, providing the rafting participants with breath taking views of the nature’ÿs bounty. After a 4 km stretch of calm water, the river rages in rapids of various grades and cascades into the Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary in a 120 ft. fall.
